Enlarged polycystic ovaries are usual in PCOS and harmless, but new pain on one side with nausea is not explained by PCOS and needs an examination and a scan soon. If the pain becomes severe or the vomiting continues, go to hospital at once. Women with PCOS do conceive, usually with ovulation treatment under scan monitoring, so a pregnancy next year is possible.
