Dear Sir, Is it necessary to carryout anomaly scan in between 18-22 week during pregnancy. How that test perform and what are the benefits of it?

Some anormalies (problems in the baby) can be detected during this scan. However, results of the scan depends on the quality of the scan machine and the operator. This is an optional test because facilities for the anormaly scan is not available in some hospitals.
